Programming Committee
Committee Charge
The Programming Committee oversees the development and delivery of educational and professional programming for AAIPP members, with an emphasis on virtual offerings such as webinars, panels, workshops, and professional development sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver 3–5 educational programs annually
Identify timely topics relevant to academic pharmacy (e.g., pedagogy, leadership, scholarship, innovation, technology)
Recruit and coordinate speakers, panelists, and moderators
Establish learning objectives, formats, and timelines
Collaborate with the AAIPP Treasurer on program budgets and resources
Conduct post-program evaluations and provide summary reports to the AAIPP Executive Committee
Structure and Leadership
Reports to the AAIPP Executive Committee
Led by a Committee Chair, appointed by AAIPP leadership
Members serve staggered 2 to 3 year terms
Committee service supports professional growth, visibility, and leadership development
Events Planning Committee
Committee Charge
The Events Planning Committee is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing AAIPP’s in-person and hybrid events, with a primary focus on the Annual Dinner Banquet and Networking Event held in conjunction with the AACP Annual Meeting, as well as other AAIPP-sponsored networking activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver 1–2 major in-person or hybrid events annually
Develop event concepts, timelines, and logistical plans aligned with AAIPP’s mission
Collaborate with the AAIPP Treasurer on budgeting, cost oversight, and financial sustainability
Coordinate venues, vendors, and external partners as needed
Support branding, marketing, and attendee engagement
Conduct post-event assessments and submit summary reports to the AAIPP Executive Committee
